You know it is because there are blooms everywhere.
There are spring dresses in the windows along with gorgeous one of a kind hats.
Special invitations are extended for parties and cookouts and trips to Churchill Downs.
So in the spirit of a trip to The Race Track,
Lori and her Moments Photography team decided to share some images we took
last year to celebrate Derby Style with a few of our models
We invited them to a photo shoot at 300 Spring in Jeffersonville
(Thank you Vicki Julius)
and shot some incredible images.
Just look at these!
And what would that party be without a great Chocolate Pecan Pie?
Well, here is Moments Photography's version of this famous wonderful pie! It's easy peasy to make and your guests will be delighted.
Moment's Chocolate Pecan Pie
1/2 cup caramel topping
1 (9-inch) chocolate wafer pie crust
2 pints coffee ice cream, softened
1/2 cup chocolate chips, divided
1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped
To pie crust add 1/4 cup of caramel sauce. Place in freezer for 15 minutes until caramel firms.
Remove pie crust from freezer; add 1 pint softened coffee ice cream. Over top of ice cream, sprinkle 1/4 cup chocolate chips and 1/4 cup pecans. Return pie to freezer for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Repeat and make another layer. Return pie to freezer for a minimum of 4 hours.
For easy slicing, run knife under hot water
There you have it.
We hope you have a great time this Saturday
and we hope you cash in a lot of winning tickets!!
